Green Living Expo
We are so excited to be sponsoring the Green Living Expo for it’s inaugural year! This expo will not only share some green design and construction techniques, it will also highlight other ways in integrate green living into your everyday lifestyle.
Description: The Four Corners Green Living Expo is an exhibition of the latest and greatest green products and services dedicated to making the world a better place while promoting a better life through smarter living. The expo will host over 50 exhibitions, featuring informative workshops and seminars, an interactive kid’s section, a bike recycling program, a clothing swap, a local café and beer garden, music, a green economy forum and so much more.
When: April 18-19, 2009
Where: La Plata County Fairgrounds
Cost: $2 per entry. Proceeds go to Sustainability Alliance of Southwest Colorado. The $2 entry fee also gets you into all the workshops.
Workshop topics include:
- Green design and building strategies
- Recycling at home and the office
- Top 10 ways to lower energy bills
- Facts, myths and realities of solar
- Eco kid workshops
