These homeowners started out with rough sketches of their dream home and worked with Kogan Builders to turn those sketches into their idea of a mountain getaway. This home blends traditional mountain architecture with natural materials and elegant details to create a home that feels like it is part of nature. Custom details include large timber scissor trusses and a beautiful round stone stair tower. Inside the tower, a custom iron railing winds around the staircase resembling tree limbs and leaves. The master suite is located on the main level, and a free-standing alder bed wall creates a feeling of coziness that balances out the vaulted ceilings.
