This remodeled 1909 homestead farmhouse, sitting on four and a half acres alongside CR 250 just minutes from downtown, offers up a fresh interpretation of its original and classic style. To brighten up the exterior, cool gray painted wood siding and white trim were selected and a porch was built to cover the length of the house. A sprawling yard backs up to the cliffside and features a natural spring waterfall that serves as the domestic water source for the house.
The thoughtful redesign of the interior opens up the 1,700 sq. ft. space with clean lines and contemporary finishes. In the gourmet kitchen, painted cabinets and soapstone counters complement the stainless steel appliances. The cliffside entry has been lightened up with added windows and casual breakfast nook. In the remodeled bathrooms you’ll find a contemporary expression of farmhouse design as well with fresh materials that accentuate the wood-look porcelain tile.
