Remodels, Additions and New Design-Build Projects
Our design-build team is busy creating some beautiful custom homes from Pagosa Springs and Ridgeway, to Durango and La Plata Canyon. All designed in-house, these residences encompass contemporary aesthetics as well as elegant mountain style. Several exciting projects will be complete in just a few months and we’re closing in on the finishing details.
Our Project Manager, Craig Strand, is managing a few projects in the Pagosa Springs area. This residence exemplifies Colorado living and mountain style at its finest with large log trusses and rustic metal accents throughout. In order to set the logs it required bringing in some heavy equipment. The house is sited to capture the stunning mountain panoramic views of the San Juan Mountains
Heading north to Ridgeway, a sleek, contemporary home couldn’t be better sited for the views of Dallas Divide. With varying roof pitches and a design that is nestled into the slope, the home fits perfectly with site. The deck that stretches over the hill will be the place for many hours of sunset-watching over the mountains. Our Project Manager, Bruce Daniel’s, favorite feature is how the design frames the dramatic view of Mount Sneffels from every room.
In Durango’s historic district, we’re nearing completion of a Victorian with a detached garage and guest house. Ryan Voegeli, the project manager, loves the dormers, roof line and skylights that add interest and a spacious feeling to the home. Kogan Builders’ design team was careful to create a home that reflects the existing historical architecture in the neighborhood on the outside, but unlike Victorian homes, has a spacious, open floor plan with lots of day lighting inside.
Just west of Durango, our building crews are busy on two projects. Both homes designed and built by the Kogan team have spectacular sites in La Plata Canyon. With Baldy, Silver and Parrot Peaks all nearby, the homes embrace the magnificence of the alpine views and each with a unique style that reflects the diversity and creativity of the design team.
Trapper’s Crossing and Shenandoah have exquisite additions to the
neighborhood. From a contemporary home designed with niches for showcasing art as a central theme, to an additional wing of an existing home with a stylish new kitchen and master bedroom suite, reflecting the budget, diversity and styles of our projects.
We’re always excited to see projects approach the home stretch and all the final details completed that turn a construction project into an elegant home for our clients. As these homes near completion and the build season is upon us, we’re designing and breaking ground on some exceptional new projects. Stay tuned…
